Partial Discharge (PD) Detector

The PARDIS partial discharge detector is designed to replace traditional analogue detectors in those applications where the additional cost of a true digital discharge detector cannot be justified or where the complexity of measurement of such an instrument is not required. It is designed for simple operation and rapid measurement. The system emulates the look and feel of a traditional analogue PD detector making it easy for users to make the transition to the new system. It is the ideal solution for pass/fail partial discharge testing; incorporating all the basic functions of an analog detector and meets all IEC and IEEE/ANSI standards for PD testing

PD measurement is therefore done as routine and acceptance test as per IEC 60060-2 and 60270 at equipment manufacturer factory or lab.
